#GivingTuesday has become a global movement of giving that grows each year. If you are a non-profit, here are a few ideas to help you increase the donations given to your organization this year!
1) Great Creative
Use your DJs or most recognizable voices for your organization to present the goal and mission clearly. Why share your mission? Because you want to get new donors on #GivingTuesday, and they want to know what you do.
2) Multi-channel plan
You’ve got your creative, you’ve got your plan. Make sure everybody knows about it. Email, Facebook ads targeted to your donors, text message marketing, direct mail. Whatever channels you most frequently communicate to your audience.
3) Engaged your current donors
It’s great to use #GivingTuesday as a way to kick off your year-end giving season with your current donors. However, if you are jumping on the giving train of #GivingTuesday, I like to use it as an opportunity to get new, 1-time donors added to your family. Ask your current donors to help spread the word about #GivingTuesday!
